Short version: your guest list never leaves your device. We can’t see it, sell it or lose it.

What the planner stores, and where

Plans you create — guest names, households, groups, meals, dietary and access notes, private notes, tables and room layouts — are saved in your browser’s storage on your device (IndexedDB, with a copy in localStorage for recovery). They are not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them; download a backup file to keep a copy.

Links you share

“Send a copy” links contain a full copy of the plan, compressed into the part of the link after the “#”. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so the plan travels directly between you and the person you send it to. Treat the link like the guest list itself.

Seat-finder links and QR codes contain only guest first names, last names and table names. Anyone who has the link or scans the code can see that list.

What our server sees

Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information (IP address, browser type, the page requested) to serve pages and protect against abuse.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our public information pages. Analytics is off until you accept. Google receives technical information such as your browser, device and IP address, and uses analytics cookies to measure visits. We send only the public page address without query strings or fragments; we do not send guest lists, planner data or advertising identifiers. Advertising storage, personalization and Google signals are disabled.

The planner and shared seat finder do not load Google Analytics. Your choice is stored on this device for six months. You can change it using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Declining has no effect on the planner.

Fonts and third parties

All fonts and planner scripts are served from our own domain. The planner makes no requests to third-party services. If you accept optional analytics on public pages, the Google Analytics script is loaded from Google.

Children’s data

Guest lists may include children’s names. Because that data stays on your device, it is under your control at all times.

Your rights

As we don’t hold your plan data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete any plan from “Your plans” in the planner, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
